In old groves, some of the oldest trees have so many stumps, weird looking roots and branches showcasing centuries of growth. These forests seem like they have trapped spirits in their barks. This series of animations aims to showcase the whimsical and mysterious experience that I have had meeting some of the oldest trees in the Red Woods (CA,USA).
